Assistant General Manager: Food and Beverage

John Hurt received a bachelor�s degree in Business Management from McMurry University where he also competed in collegiate golf. He began his career in the world of private club hospitality at Abilene Country Club serving in a variety of capacities including Food & Beverage Manager as well as Director of Food & Beverage. John joined the Colonial Country Club family in 2017. In his current Assistant General Manager role, John is responsible for all clubhouse operations and serves an important leadership role as a member of the club executive management team. John is involved in industry leadership and currently serves on the North Region Board of Governors for the Texas Lonestar Chapter of CMAA. John currently resides in Keller, TX with his wife Julia and two kids: Jackson (10) and Adalynn (8).
